I am not entirely proud of creating this video (it got viral 2 years ago). I never thought it could hit 260K views on youtube. It was just a product of boredom. Facebook was so different back then but it still is the same social networking site. As I viewed the video again, the first line hit me, "Ten years from now ganito pa rin kaya tayo?".

No, Im not in a relationship. It just makes me happy to easily browse previous posts, status updates and photos.  These remind us of who we were and what we have become (of course they do not define us). Truly, facebook has evolved and has been integrated with our lives. In the coming years, my feed will probably be filled with more graduation photos,"you are tagged" in your friend's 32nd birthday, nuptials online invitations, "I am pregnant" status updates, first born videos, and a lot more. And I will be there in front of the computer, hitting the like button. :)

*Unless facebook shuts down, or the internet no longer exists.

Summer Paradise

Hello summer! Here's a teaser of our beach weekend to give this site the summer breeze.

It's been a long while since I updated my blog. I just had to admit that for the past few months I have been severely depressed. Never did I thought that I would suffer such sleepless nights, asking the universe what have I done to deserve such emotions. Hence the loss of interest with blogging and just about everything else. Trust me, you don't want to hear more about such stories. This is one great examples of those cliche character descriptions wherein he/she is fckin happy outside but deep down inside his/her soul is crushed (and still sexy). DAMN, did I just write that? This blog was created to remind myself to be thankful of life and just be awesome. It's my only way of expressing myself. So, I am giving my blog a reboot. I modified my previous layout and bought my own domain! I love XKYNO, although some say it sounds like a porn site... but, hey I could use a little bit of traffic (kidding). Stay tuned for more awesome posts! Hit the follow button above or click the "join this site" somewhere in the sidebar. Do you have anything to say? Don't like the layout? Any suggestions? Or don't you want to just drop a hello? Comment below! Yes, I am trying to build up a friendly community here. :)

*I re-read the whole thing, and It did not seem believable that I  was (or could ever be) depressed. Yeah, even I couldn't believe it. It takes some getting used to.. and denial.

Here goes the sun

I honestly feel awkward publishing this. Keep on reading if you intend to shut up about it. I honestly don't need anyone's "Are you okay?" or "What's wrong?". I'm not sure If a hug's effective enough but I guess you could try and try until it works. I'm having second thoughts about hugs though.

Holding on, so close to letting go.

Nothing seems to make sense right now. I'm so near the deadline of a big decision. However, what bugs me right now is the thought that there were no choices to choose from in the first place... and the only way I'm heading right now is the dead end.

MudRage: UP Fair 2012

A very muddy terrain welcomed my way into this year's UP Fair (Loverage 6). My shoes did sink (in the middle of Sunken Garden) while I try my very best to have one foot right in front of the other. People were walking already in barefoot, just to escape such miserable fate. *long story short* The night ended well as opposed to how I thought it would have.

Foot Spa. More fun in UP Diliman.

No text could ever express how amazing this day was. No picture could ever capture the delicious taste of what we ate. No blog post could ever describe how full our stomachs were. Indeed, nothing's too late for chocolate.

Birdy

Here's a music video I made for this Valentines (out of the short film I made about a year ago). The song is Birdy's rendition of 1901 originally by Phoenix. The song was stuck inside my head since last last week and thought that I just had to make something out of it. I found that my short film perfectly fit the song so I just tweaked it a bit for the music video. To my surprise, the official video was released this weekend (and it was pretty good). Birdy has really awesome renditions of some songs. Jasmine vanden Bogaerd (her real name) is just 15 years old, and at that age she has really great taste in music. Although some would comment on her being unoriginal and all (always covering artists), I'd say give the girl a chance! She gives out an angelic aura to her covers and make them her own. Find out more about Birdy here.

The Blog

A frustrated college student's way of coping up with shit. This blog serves as his very own reminder to continue breathing and just laugh things out of awkward sentence structures.
